Wine comes in at the mouth, And love comes in at the eye; That's all that we will know for truth, Before we grow old and die. I lift the glass to my mouth, I look at you and I sigh. --- William Butler Yeats

Ice Bar - London

Let me take you into London's..

My secondary classmate, Joanne, who was kind enough to let me stay in her house during my trip brought me to Ice Bar London~!

The menu

We went on a weekday, so the entrance is 12 Pounds, i think it cost like 15 pounds on a weekend. The entrance include one absolutely awesome drink, and the cape and gloves, and chances to see the friendliest bartenders, waiter and waitresses!! The waiters there are really the most friendliest people ive seen, and you can tell they love their job! Great service..

However, if the crowd is big, they limit only 45 minutes per entrance.. but there's really nothing much you can do there, so 45 mins is enough..

The crowd that night

Dont expect the place to be big, its not..its just like a normal living room plus a dining room of a house... ok.. maybe plus another room.. well.. u get the idea..

The Drinks....

Absolute Polar Gale - Absolute Vodka with Cloudberry liqueurs and Guava Juice.

The Absolute Below Zero London - The Absolute Mandrin mixed with coffee liqueurs and chocolate, and topped with orange juice. Taste really weird, but i like it nonetheless :P

The bartender gave us a free drink (most right) - Absolute Ice Bar London - Mixture of Absolute Vanilla, cinnamon, Blackberry Liqueurs, and apple juice.

Yeah~~ the glasses are made of ice too.. everything in the bar is made of ice.. haha

My leng chai bartender! Absolutely charming~!

The foreigner

Ice bar is only a part of the whole bar, there's a lounge beside the receiption which is quiet where people chit chat and drink.

The lounge

There's a fine dining restaurant downstairs, where a lot of young people gather and lounge around..

Joanne and I

Cheerz to all!!

I miss UK~!~!~
